Thoughts From A Future Time
We think of the sun as a star
but don’t even know who we are.
Remember the hymns people sang
when they still worshiped the Big Bang.
In the twentieth century
which seems like an eternity
people thought they were star dust,
unable to control their lust.
They were addicted to tobacco.
We have kicked that habit also.
Now we think those folks were naive
and didn’t know what to believe.
They didn’t know about woo woo
like we more evolved people do.
