One Frog in the Pond
We live in a structured society
where equality is not the norm.
But, life exists in variety
and this i would not want to reform.
So, how can justice fit all of us
who view life from different stances?
Our differences create stimulus
to give all of us equal chances.
Each of us has equal dignity
but not equal opportunity.
You’ve got yours–does that apply to me,
or attitude, or philosophy?
Perhaps i cannot be the top dog
but i am lucky i’m not a frog.
