The Luck of the Draw
Just dawdling away for hours
among the birds and the flowers
and treating nature like a toy
which was made for men to enjoy.
And, they treat women the same way;
an instrument on which they play.
The women are more purposeful,
only wishing to be beautiful.
Someone has to get the work done
while these people are having fun.
Perhaps the gods will mind the store
so we humans can play some more.
That must be a pain in the ass.
We play the cards we are dealt, alas.
