Is It Time?
You can own the moment if you try
to think of time as a passing lie;
an illusion of perception
only measuring deception.
What causes Earth to circumvent
the sun, and is it relevant?
Sun time, moon time, or lost in space;
it’s the same in every place.
Can we outwit the pace of age
by thinking of time as a cage,
we can escape by slipping thru
its bars, as the breezes can do?
Is time only an invention
with no purpose or intention?
