If We Assume
It is the worst kind of heresy
to believe something different than me.
Rationalists, with their disbelief,
are digging a hole for their own grief.
They will not accept intuition;
thinking it only superstition
but accept the big bang as true
although this is ridiculous too.
Assumptions are bound to sneak in;
so where can we find real truth then?
Perhaps there is cosmic awareness
where assumptions are not so careless;
where all of our gods likely convene
to figure out what assumptions mean.
