The December Crisis
Rising demand for energy
and for sustainability
have both come upon us because
there really ain’t a Santa Klaus.
Our system is based on profit
and who makes a dollar off it.
It isn’t for brotherly love
that we all have to push and shove.
This greedy old clown, by golly,
seems to be both kind and jolly,
bringing kids a plastic dolly
and the bill says,”Velly solly.”
Walmart says, “Well, come on, you guys,
made in China is no surprise.”
