Dancing to Keep Warm
Is there any significance
or an inclination to dance
because the northern hemisphere
has weather which is more severe?
Although we humans have found
that our whole planet is round,
while parts of it are really hot
when other locations are not
it requires no religious rite
when we have cold weather to fight.
If we can, we may hibernate
or even fast to compensate.
There’s no reason to celebrate
a particular winter date.
