To Have or to Know
I don’t want to have or know things
but know how to appreciate
my possessions or happenings
and understand how they relate.
      To live with cosmic consciousness
      and yet be able to be aware
      in my pursuit of happiness
      of gods who are everywhere.
Ego is not my enemy
I have no suicidal quest.
I don’t want o get rid of me
so i can see all of the rest.
      I don’t want to be able
      to sit and stare at my navel.
