The Tao–The Way and How
What i trust is an inner voice
where my conscience gives me free choice,
and where my own self-consciousness
opens the road to happiness.
      I figure i have better odds
      in camaraderie with gods
      so without much hesitation
      i engage in conversation.
I am usually aware
that such conversations are prayer
and the answers which i may get
constitute a bond like a debt.
      These are the guidelines which i trust;
      to which my actions must adjust.
