Swamp Shoes
There are problems we have not solved
where our intentions are involved.
Is it more important to win?
Where does brotherly love begin?
To some it may seem to be wise
to have the most toys when he dies;
but some of us don’t plan to die,

There is a cosmic consciousness
which makes us happier with less.
We are part of something greater
than shoes made of alligator.
I expect immortality;
