Measuring Awe and Wonder
We are each a part
of a cosmic consciousness
which we share with our gods.
Not everyone is aware
of what it is that we share
or the immensity of it.
Our universe is too extended
to have a beginning or end
but is now and has always been.
In addition to the cosmic view
we are individuals too,
and attempt to measure the boundless.
No wonder there is mystery
throughout human history.
