A Fresh New Day
A rebirth of innocence means
epiphany, which also cleans;
while erasing what might have been
to relish the new life we’re in.
      All past sins have been forgiven.
      We have a clean slate to live in.
      A life in which we are aware
      of all the new wonders out there.
When someone asks, “Well, what is new?”
we can tell them a thing or two.
They may have seen the same sunrise
which we have seen with brand new eyes.
       Don’t be afraid to talk about it.
      They may be bored, but i doubt it.
