Cosmic Consciousness
The Akashic (information) field
may be an accessible source
of knowledge which would
enable interplanetary contact.
The question is not if there is
such a body of knowledge;
but by who(m?) and how it is accessed.
The answer is to let it into
consciousness instead of blocking it.
A strong bias or blind faith
can effectively deny its entry.
Perhaps in a subconscious state
such as sleep or hypnotic trance
the akashic field becomes available.
That does not make it usable.
The knowledge stored in
an unread book is in abeyance.
We must not only learn to read,
but to consciously do so.
Are there extraterrestrial beings
who are attempting to contact us?
People who believe this is so
are constantly alert to this possibility.
The brain enables sensory perception
and that is what we call consciousness
and all of us may be a part of this.
However, consciousness may survive
the death of the body which hosts the brain.
There is a cosmic consciousness
and all of us may be a part of this
even without an individual perspective.
In this way we are all immortal.
