Welcome Snowbird Weather
Clouds which seem like ribs of the sky
are welcome–and i’ll tell you why.
Their pattern suggests it may rain
becoming thunder clouds again.
But the monsoon may pass on by
leaving us and our desert dry.
After all–good bye September.
We’re coming to fall, remember.
We can embrace the harvest moon
and snowbirds who’ll be coming soon.
Our patience is put to the test
as we welcome every guest.
We like the money they will bring
despite the traffic and ev’rything.
