Sex Is Complex
I can’t think that being gay
is anything but regret,
not wanting to be that way,
something they try to forget.
People we think of as queer
may not be obsessed with it.
They may be full of good cheer,
happier that we admit.
How we love one another
may not be concerned with sex.
Loving a sister or brother
is what ev’ryone expects.
Whatever is said or done,
let’s all have a lot of fun.
