Money Mad Or Mad At Money
Redeeming values, after all,
significant, even tho small,
like the ideals of the hippies;
exploded during the sixties.
Memories of depression loom
predicting the stock market’s doom.
Well, we lived through the worst of times
caused by capitalistic crimes.
Now that it becomes evident
that we need new laws to prevent
endless cycles of discontent
we wonder where the hippies went.
Have the young people lost their starch
It is time for a protest march.
