I Ain’t Mad At Nobody
I don’t get mad–even even
at something i don’t believe in,
but i might get mad about Sue
or even fall in love with you.
There are some words which i dislike
calling people Wop, Nigger, Kike,
and words i think better of
honesty, truthfulness, and love.
Some of these are appellations
and not about operations.
Some are improper nouns.
Some of them are ups, some put-downs.
I will try to make a good choice
without ever raising my voice.
