Eternity Is Now
To stretch the imagination
beyond valid explanation
supposes beginning or end.
The big bang is hard to defend
while in another time or place
there is nothing but endless space.
The strange idea of creation
needs careful examination.
The universe has always been.
It has had no time to begin.
The idea of having it die
seems like a preposterous lie.
What is wrong with eternity?
I think that is enough for me.
