Are Gods Lost In A Crowd?
Pilgrimages or retreats are not
anything i care for a whole lot.
I’d rather meditate alone;
not in a group, but on my own.
Ritual chants do nothing for me,
nor encourage camaraderie.
But dialog is another thing
or even some of the hymns we sing.
Get together, but not to pray,
and listen to what others say.
I’m convinced we worship too much
in our fancy cathedrals and such.
My consciousness has not allowed
me to search for gods in a crowd.
