Solipsism
Feeling that the self is only
making you feel lost and lonely,
you try to discard your ego
which is the only thing you know.
What discarding the self may do
is provide an unbiased view
but what kind of fun can that be?
It seems ridiculous to me.
Certain kinds of meditation
may produce this strange sensation.
Nirvana may be a life in hell;
fortunately only a spell,
from which you are sure to awake,
and return to life, for gods’ sake.
