Questions and Suggestions
If poems are the news of the day,
what do current poems have to say?
Are men lost in a jungle of fear,
and almost afraid of living here?
Should we be afraid of each other;
even afraid to trust our lover?
All of these questions have an answer,
but feed on our souls like a cancer.
All of us know that there is a cure
for the fears and doubts which we endure
but often we are a bit queasy
and think the answer isn’t easy.
Yet, love isn’t really that hard
and is often its own reward.
