Down To Earth
The world is only an illusion
not so much real as confusion
and like a shimmering mirage
the earth acts as its camouflage.
The world which we are living in
while the earth continues to spin
sees the earth we are living on
for a moment–then it is gone.
The world is imagination,
the earth is a real creation;
in and on are like up and down
and the universe is a clown.
They are all just a mystery
to a simple rhymester like me.
