Where Do Spirits Live?
Spirits are parts of living creatures
which can be shared with everyone;
perhaps our most important features.
Love may be the most dominant one.
You cannot doubt that your dog loves you.
Therefore animals have spirits too.
They may not go to heaven or hell
and none of us may go there as well.
Such rewards and punishments may be
unrelated to mortality.
The spirits and souls, which cannot die,
are not reserved for just you and i.
Are only monks meditating
while bears are just hibernating?
What is the reason we may doubt
what our spirits are all about?
It isn’t hard to understand
differences between spirits and
physical and sensitive things
or more magical happenings.
Immortal and intangible
thoughts are often manageable.
Ideas, ideals, and things like love
we can always be conscious of.
Other creatures also have them.
We have no special diadem.
There’s no reason to be a hog
So share your halo with your dog.
