A Universal Prayer
Married to and in love with a dream,
living like a perfectly matched team.
How did that ever happen to us,
and why did we keep on living thus?
The one thing we were most grateful of
was that lubricating oil called love.
Love displays itself in many ways.
Married love is a marvelous phase.
But there can also be other things
which a different kind of love brings.
I love the universe i live in
and gods, who always are and have been.
That takes nothing away from Louise.
May ev’ryone have a love like that, please.
