Time for a Quest
The inherent knowledge which hibernates
but awakens in the proper season
only shows me that i know what awaits
and i know that the gods have a reason.
Our sense of time may be an illusion
because we know our time must have a stop
but the gods don’t have any confusion
so they say “Wake up, it is time; chop chop.”
Do i hear Gabriel blowing his horn
for a future which will not be denied?”
“It’s revile and time to be reborn;
no time to pull up the cover and hide.”
“Well, sergeant, chief, whoever you are,
i’m only a peasant, not Lochinvar.”
