Sacred: Holy and/or Worshiped
Sacred is like idol worship to me.
The bible is revered religiously.
It is called sacred, or a holy book,
but perhaps we should take another look.
Despite all the wisdom it may contain
i don’t really want to read it again.
It has an unearned reputation
for a story of Hebrew migration.
Worship is not something i want to do
and ritual is unappealing too.
Love is a spirit of another kind
which resides in a more spiritual mind.
Sacred to me sounds like a sycophant
having the posture of a supplicant.
