No Sense Ain’t Nonsense
Simple syntax is a tether
which holds a poem together
The reader becomes frustrated
with syntax eliminated.
Poets who try to be obscure
without meaning–just bull manure
eliminate all the syntax
saying “Reader, only the facts.”
So words without correlation
become senseless recitation.
If gobbledygook is their thing
it’s something i’m not buying.
However, some nonsense can be
very significant to me.
