Less Pain and Remorse
The worlds of nostalgia
have diminished with my age,
Rumination about the past
is a pastime which doesn’t last.
I don’t think about tomorrow,
trouble i don’t want to borrow.
The present is all there is,
therefore, think about this.
Appreciating each minute,
thankful for all that is in it.
My life is full of happiness
which i recognize and confess.
Yes, sometimes i do have pain
but it doesn’t always remain.
