Is Rapture Denied?
If ecstasy is what you seek,
it isn’t easy for the meek.
After a person has matured
some peace of mind should be assured.
What a religion does provide
may be an ecstasy denied
except that after you are dead
you may go to heaven instead.
Jesus said “The kingdom is now.”
so now is all there is somehow.
If you depend on tomorrow
ecstasy may become sorrow.
Do you think it would be insane
to expect to be born again?
