Happy Dreams
When i awake in dawning light
i review dreams i had last night;
attempt to correlate them to
whatever i may have to do
or to things which i might have done
as frustrations or having fun.
But, my dreams seem irrelevant
to my daily life–so i can’t.
In a different time or place,
and in a faster moving pace,
the dreams which i can remember
may have my wife as a member.
But such dreams are not memories;
i’m living new lives with Louise.
