Big Bang or Pop
It is perhaps equivocal;
a theory inconclusive
and yet, readily accepted.
There was an explosion one time
which created the universe
and invented time and space.
Supported only by faith,
an insecure foundation,
it is like a new religion.
The priests of science are in charge.
It’s politically correct
and makes us all only stardust.
This theory will whimper away
without even a pop some day.
