We Might Fall in Love
The conscious self is sometimes hiding
in our normal quotidian days
but nevertheless is deciding
the role which this secret spirit plays.
We talk to ourselves but we wonder
why we are not sure just who we are.
Mysterious clouds we are under
have shaded us from knowledge so far.
Perhaps most of us don’t want to know
about our beginning or our end,
or how we can let our spirits grow
in egos which we have to defend.
Is spiritual growth a risky thing
with love in danger of happening?
