Truth or Consequences?
If the mind should dissolve or rot
in the consumerist atmosphere
could the spirit revive or not
or would our soul just disappear?
I remember one of our group said,
“When your body dies, your soul is dead.
Spirits are pure fabrication,
unworthy of admiration
Lies, They are all lies”, he said.
“There’s no heaven or hell ahead.”
What does heaven or hell have to do
with whether souls or spirits or true?
These things are not even connected.
An afterlife should not be expected.
